No matter what else you do with your life you must make time for travel. Whether you go by bus, rail, car, plane or boat, nothing will do you more good than a long vacation away from home and work.  It doesn't have to be expensive. If you are just starting out in college look into a semester or year abroad. You will never regret it. Besides offering all kinds of exciting new experiences, it also provides a better perspective on your life back home.  It's kind of like zooming out with a camera lens.  It helps you to see the big picture.
